River Tyne and River Till Catches.

New permit holder Graham Southam, who only got his permit at the weekend, didn't take long to get off the mark when he landed a beautiful 14 lb salmon caught on the fly yesterday at Merryshields on the River Tyne and last Thursday saw angler Nicholas Polunin land a lovely 3 lb 8 oz. sea trout along with a couple of nice brown trout from our Turvelaws stretch on the River Till.
