NEW DRAGONFLY TO THE AREA SEEN IN THE HAUGH, THROPTON

The North Northumberland Recorders of The British Dragonfly Society visited The Haugh in August and spotted a new Dragonfly to the area.

In total they recorded seven species one of which was the brand new Dragonfly 🙂. It was a male Ruddy Darter. The first one recorded with a photo to confirm the identification in North Northumberland. It is believed be the most northerly record in the country!
