MESSAGE FROM ROD & TACKLE, CRAMLINGTON - ABOUT THEIR CHARITY CHRISTMAS RAFFLE:

"We (Rod & Tackle, Cramlington) are running our Christmas raffle again to raise funds again for the Bobby Robson cancer charity. Last year we raised just short of 1.9k and hopefully with the support of the NE angling community we can beat last year’s total.

Raffle tickets are available in our shop. The draw will be held in Rod & Tackle on December 13th.

On the draw day we have Dave Bilbrough from Guide who will be demystifying fly line choice. In the morning, he will cover Trout and in the afternoon Salmon. Dave will also be available to talk about anything salmon fishing. Jim Fern, also from Guide and an AAPGAI master instructor will be outside helping with rod and reel choice and casting instruction with both single and double handed rods. We also have four fly tiers during the day. YouTube sensation Alec Harvey doing Stillwater patterns, Steve Jobburns euro nymphing patterns, Paul Smith - river Trout and Richard Armstrong on Salmon.

The raffle draw will be between 15.00 - 16.00 and tickets are available at £5 per strip CASH ONLY right up to the draw.
