Heaviest Brown Trout So Far

A great fishing day for permit holder Dennis Melvin on Sunday - catching what is the heaviest recorded brown trout so far this season on Federation waters - a contender for the Centenary Cup. Weight 4 pounds 7 ounces, caught on the Rothbury waters near Ladies Bridge using a dry fly (Adams Dry). After being weighed and witnessed it was safely released. Well done Dennis - great fish.
