Head Bailiff Notice - Fishing Report and Access to High Park Tomorrow (Saturday)

As we enter the final week of the salmon season on the Tyne and Coquet, the catches reported since the last update have been relative to the conditions with 5 salmon and 9 sea trout being caught. with one of the sea trout, caught by Matt Bradbeer weighing in at 10 lb 4 oz.

Hopefully, tonight's rain will bring improved conditions and get some fish moving for what remains of the season.

Should the conditions be suitable on Saturday, can all anglers venturing to High Park please access and egress the river via the 'Fisherman's Path' - this is the first path on your left that you would come to (with the directional arrow) - as the landowner has a shoot organised. This won't affect your fishing in any way and it only applies for this one day. We thank you for your co-operation regarding this matter.
