FEDERATION & ANGLING TRUST 'GET FISHING GRANT' - HELP SCOUTS EARN THEIR ANGLING BADGE

On each day of our Open Event Weekend, two scout groups came along to participate to earn their 'angling badges'. Its was great to see them having fun, learning to fish and finding out about angling to qualify for their badge.

This was made possible by the Angling Trust's 'GET FISHING GRANT'. We thank The Angling Trust for their fantastic support of a really worthy activity.

Also, thanks to the instructors and volunteers who gave their valuable time.

It was great to receive the following feedback from the scouts;

"Hello, I'd just like to thank you for inviting Alnwick Scouts to the fishing demonstration. The feedback from the parents has been brilliant. Everyone enjoyed themselves and they can't wait to get back out there and have a go."
