Congratulations to Brian Lillie

CONGRATULATIONS to BRIAN LILLIE.

Congratulations to Federation Permit holder Brian Lillie who has been given the honour of captaining the England Rivers Team for the Home International which to be held on the River Tees. Please see following a message from Brian, asking if you would support the teams fundraising by taking part in a raffle they are organising:

I’m Brian Lillie and I’ve fished the River Coquet Northumbrian Anglers Federation waters since the age of 10, mostly for trout. This year I have received the honour of captaining the England Rivers team in the Home international on the River Tees. This is to be fished on Raby Estates waters upstream of Middleton, against teams from Scotland, Wales and Ireland. To help raise funds for the team, the Federation Committee have kindly offered us a weekly ticket, which we will raffle to generate funds. Many thanks for this support, it’s really appreciated to help team members who have to primarily fund themselves to represent their country.
