THANK YOU HARDYS AND GREYS FISHING

THANK YOU HARDYS & GREYS FISHING.

We would like to thank Hardys and Greys Fishing for their support of our events this year. Both The Hardys Day and Greys weekend were a huge success.

The winner of The Greys weekend prize draw was Olly Sim - congratulations Olly.

For those who have not seen the presenation photograph along with comments by Hardys on their Facebook page, I have copied them on to this post:

"12-year-old Olly Sim from Alnwick is the winner of our prize draw from the recent Greys and Northumbrian Anglers Federation open weekend held on the river Coquet at Rothbury.

Olly won a 10' #7 Greys Fin Combo (rod, reel & fly line).

Olly has just started fishing under the tutelage of his grandfather, so his prize will be put to good use.

He visited the event on Saturday 21st June to learn about fly fishing. We had close to 150 visitors over the two days including many families and youngsters. The majority were people wanting to learn about starting fishing which is great, just what our sport needs.

The picture shows Paul Cossey (Assistant Manager) presenting Olly with his prize in the Hardy Store and Museum, Alnwick."
