RIVER COQUET - SALMON

It's Elementary for Mr. Watson.

With the temperatures finally warming and the rivers in fine fettle the River Coquet produced a stunning fresh salmon grilse of around 5 lb yesterday evening from the Rothbury beat, caught and safely released once again by Chris Watson, this time on a small conehead fly. A pleasing sight to see fresh fish are well through the system.
