SO CLOSE FOR NEW ANGLER

We have a lot of permit holders who are new to angling this year who we hope will be encouraged by reading this email sent to us by new angler Brian:-

Message: Just to let you know I hooked my first ever salmon just upstream of High Park on Friday evening. Unfortunately it got off after a couple of minutes, but not before I saw it practically under my feet. A good fish probably over 10lbs. It took a size 8 Stoat's Tail. Still striving to get my first salmon into the net, but really excited to have actually connected with one. Fingers crossed for next time. Regards, Brian
